Beep Box Project
1. Go to https://www.beepbox.co/
2. Think of what mood of music you want to create then change the scale based on it.
Easy :) for happy, Easy :( for sad or scary
3. Next, choose your instrument you wish to use.
Experiment with various instruments
But if you want to make a chiptunes style song:
Choose "Chip Wave" for melody
and choose "Chip Noise" for the percussion
4. You can make different patterns for melody, harmony, percussion, etc by clicking on the
different colored track numbers. Create your song by making patterns of sound.
5. Make additional patterns by clicking the tiny triangles and changing the number.
6. Extend how long your song is by dragging the purple bar all the way to the right
7. Make a song that is at least 16 segments (or bars) long and uses at least 4 instrument tracks.
By experimenting ,repeating, bending, or dragging out notes, you can make a creative song that evokes an emotion.
8. Save A. Save your song by clicking "File" then click "Export Song"
B. Next, title your song
C. Next click File Type and choose the .json file type.
D. Finally click Export.
(If you want to use your song in Scratch export it as a .wav or .mp3)

Additional Tips (how to get a 4):
1. Create an exciting rising action by adding in one instrument pattern at a time.
2. Add additional instrument tracks beyond 4 by clicking "Edit"
then clicking "Insert Channel"
3. Extend the length of your song past 16 bars by clicking "Edit"
Then clicking Change Song Length
